Bearden Falls ~ Blue Ridge Mountains, GA
Bearden Falls is hidden away in the Chattahoochee National Forest! We found these breathtaking falls at the end of a very peaceful trail that meandered its way along the crystal clear waters of Bearden Creek, through a forest, filled with rhododendron bushes and wild flowers! Totally enjoy the awesome beauty of the wilds!!
We discovered several small waterfalls along the way!...love listening and soaking in their magical music! So very soothing and sweet!!
We rock hopped and log shuffled across Bearden Creek several times!...sooo much fun!! Then before we knew it, the forest opened up and revealed the amazing beauty of Bearden Falls! So exciting!
This is where the real fun began! The trail started climbing at this point and the closer we got to the waterfalls the steeper the climb became! We kept going though!...we were so close!
To hear the thunder of Bearden Falls as it cascades 200 feet down the mountain was incredible!
Loved feeling the mist from the waterfall on my face as I sat by it's edge soaking in the wild beauty!
So worth the climb!!
